The Fly, not just a filthy insect.

Growing up and watching documentaries on flies, made me disgusted with them. They fly around feces and rubbish, they fly around your sides and food spreading their germs. They lay larvae that turn into maggots, it's all nasty. There are superstitions about flies, one I remember vaguely is that flies in your house meant Bad luck or Evil present. So I thought i'd research to see their purpose on earth. I found out that the fly or flies in your house, does not mean bad luck, death or evil. Their messages are rather different.

A fly crosses your path means that quick and abrupt changes in your thoughts, emotions and endeavors are afoot.

or, Rapid life changes are currently happening for you so be prepared to move quickly even if unfavorable.

Last but not least a fly can also signify a source of abundance is available for you right now, use your keen eye to see it.

The fly also has many other meanings Survival, Deal with issues, Multifaceted vision, persistence, Ability to change waste in to valuable assets, Transformation and Adaption to the harshest environments.

A true fly is from the dipterans family, which also include other fling insects like mosquitoes gnats and midges. The first true dipterans known are from the Middle Triassic (around 240 million years ago), and they became widespread during the Middle and Late Triassic. The name Diptera comes from the Greek di = two and ptera = wings. I didn't come across fossil evidence of the flies fist existence yet. But maybe one day a bigger fly fossil will be discovered.

Even though they're creepy and disgusting, they might be trying to let you know something, or have a message for us. It's a shame that nature and her messages are forgotten or not heard much now days.
