Was it really mythological?
In this famous painting of Aphrodiote in a clam, looking at just the outline you may notice a mermaid fin. Maybe Aphodiote could shape shift into a mermaid?

I really love myths, all types of myths. I like seeing what evidence and history they, or it has left behind. I've noticed throught out history, stories change and facts became myth. Now with all these types of myths out there, i'm looking forward to checking them all out.
Gods, Goddesses, creatures, insects, people, ghosts, places, ideas even drugs hold myths. I am looking foward to blogging my ideas and research for you all to read. A lot of my time researching is spent on the internet so I dont have a great deal to work with. We also only have tales told by people when they could write, but so much more happened in the world before writting become a languge.
Somewhere through out our growth, we forgot that everything is linked, connected. The smallest insect to the greatest god, from the stars and the moon to the ocean, us humans and all nature and technology are connected. I also want to bring these links togther in my blogs. To tell of what may of happened behind the scenes, before anyone could write.
Donations will supply me with more books, equipment and crafts for more knowledge from all over the world for my blogs and research. Thank you for your time and if you wish to donate, thank you to you too.
