The Spider, the mythological way.

Arcahne.

Spiders are part of a group of animals called arachnids after Arachne. The are three stories to a young woman called Archane, all three make this young lady seem to boast about how great her weaving was. In one of the Stories the Goddesse Athena, after being challenged by the insolent young woman, and weaving in the contest Athena saw her beautiful work and couldn't take weaving away from her, but for her insolence turned her into either a half woman half spider were Arcahne became mother of all spiders.

Or into a small spider so for evermore her generations of offspring would weave never stopping.
