My children are back to school the 3rd of January 2019. Last Year it was the 4th. I would of enjoyed them all being off just a tiny bit longer, as starting school midweek is a little confusing. The really exciting moment is my youngest starts nursery this year. My youngest has been looking forward to going to school since they where two. I bought their school uniform and it's all exciting stuff.
I have 5 children, all at different stages of school, my eldest is now a teenager and will be doing their GCSE's this year. My next eldest child is in their last year of middle school, they will be heading off to secondary school this September. My middle child will be off to year 6. My eldest daughter will be in year 4 heading for her last two years at school.
The school my children are all at is extremely multi cultural. There are children from all different countries learning English and our way of life, it's absolutely brilliant. I absolutely love Christmas time with the school as they don't stop anyone taking part and enrol all the different countries Christmas and holiday seasons celebrations into the show. The children all work very hard at the school. Not only is multie cultural it also has many different children with different disabilities and and difficulties also in the school.
The school work really hard and making sure all the children and parents are treated equally and fairly. Although my children have had two weeks off I wish it would just be a few more days. I will miss them so much. The house will be ever so quiet. I suppose it will be time for me to start a healing process to try and get better with my ME/CFS and FM. My condition has absolutely whipped me out, although it's wiped me out it's made me appreciate my family on a whole new level. They have helped me become stronger In a whole new way.
With school journeys starting tomorrow, it will give me chance to socialise with other adults again. The selected few that I do talk to anyway. There are some parents at the school who haven't left school playground and still try to intimidate other parents, unfortunately for those types at this school the other parents don't get intimidated by them, instead those types of parents end up getting ignored by the more decent parents. By decent I mean the parents who don't bully children or try intimation to get their way with teachers and school.
So coming to the end of the school break I'll look forward to the next school break in some weeks time.
